DESCRIPTION:The Community Police Relations (CPR) Forum: Pulse of the People is a community engagement initiative of the Jacksonville Urban League that brings together residents\, law enforcement\, educators\, faith leaders\, and community organizations to strengthen relationships and promote safer schools and neighborhoods.\n\nThis interactive forum will provide practical information on school safety\, youth crime prevention\, understanding the law\, pedestrian and e-bike safety\, and the importance of reporting safety concerns before they escalate.\n\nParticipants will engage in an open panel discussion with local experts\, learn about community resources\, and discover ways families\, schools\, and community partners can work together to keep youth safe.\n\nThe evening will conclude with Hidden in Plain Sight\, an interactive presentation by the Clay Action Coalition that helps parents and caregivers recognize common household items and concealed spaces that may indicate youth substance use or other risky behaviors\, while providing practical strategies for prevention\, communication\, and early intervention.
