Dawn Mannion is an independent author, speaker, community advocate, and founder of D.A.M. IT — Different After Making It. Through her books, speaking engagements, and community outreach, Dawn focuses on resilience, second chances, homelessness awareness, and helping people see the person behind the circumstance.
She is the author of Love > Addiction and Where the City Couldn’t See Us, along with several other published projects. Dawn regularly connects with nonprofits, recovery organizations, community leaders, and local businesses to create opportunities for education, advocacy, and meaningful community impact.
Based in the Orange Park area, Dawn is passionate about using her lived experience, writing, and growing platform to encourage others, build partnerships, and turn difficult chapters into opportunities to serve.
