Designer Project Manager for the First Coast Expressway (Shands Bridge) Mike Madison of WGI will share an update on the new Shand's Bridge construction. 

Mike, a local graduate of Ridgeview High School and a graduate of Florida State University, is a highly skilled project manager and engineer at WGI with extensive experience in management and design across Florida. He currently serves as the Designer Project Manager for the First Coast Expressway (Shands Bridge) Design Build project, a nearly $600M transportation project. He has played a crucial role in ensuring the success of multiple conventional and design-build projects. Mike’s expertise encompasses project management, roadway design, traffic control, drainage analysis, and utility coordination. He consistently delivers timely submittals and error-free deliverables, making him an invaluable asset to any project. For the past 16 years, Mike has managed and designed DB projects, including high-volume interstate capacity improvement projects. He has also overseen large and complex FDOT DB projects, such as the award-winning $234M I-75 Segment AB and $150M HEFT (Bird to SR 836).
