Augusta Savage, an African American sculptor, educator, and civil rights advocate from Green Cove Springs, left a legacy that endures. Mrs. Davis-Francis will introduce Savage’s work and show how the Friends of Augusta Savage Arts & Community Center honors her by providing arts education and tutoring for underprivileged children locally. This presentation celebrates Savage’s impact and the continued spirit of her community-centered arts programs.
