The JOY•FUL Run is a 5k and 1-mile fun run/walk event organized by Worth Pursuing Inc., a Jacksonville, FL-based nonprofit. The event will take place on November 2nd and is centered around The J.O.Y. Effect, encouraging participants to find joy and fulfillment in the present moment through physical activity and reflection. The event aims to support Worth Pursuing Inc.'s mission of serving those in need and fostering a healthier, more resilient community through initiatives in hunger relief, mental health awareness, community education, and overall well-being. Event Information Race day registration hours: 6:30-7:30am. Registration Costs Through 8/1: 5K: $30; Fun Run: $15 Through 9/1: 5K: $35; Fun Run: $20 Through 11/1: 5K: $40; Fun Run: $25 Race Day: 5K: $45; Fun Run: $30 Awards will be given to 1st place male and female. Amenities JOY•FUL tokens: a daily reminder for joy Shared Spotify Playlist: sent out closer to the race date Post-race refreshments A joy-themed fanny pack Provided at bib pickup For virtual runners, sent out after registration is complete.
