Claudia Beureuse, Area Vice President, Haven Hospice will share her knowledge on how to have hard healthcare conversations that make it easier for your loved ones when the time comes. She will also spend a few minutes dispelling common myths the public has about hospice and end life care.

Claudia Beureuse is the Area Vice President at Haven Hospice, where she directs multi-market operations, program development, and growth strategies. In her current role, she also oversees Haven’s palliative care program and specialized dementia care program. With more than 12 years of hospice leadership, Claudia has served as Executive Director, Director of Patient Access, and Clinical Team Manager, bringing expertise in both clinical care and operational excellence. She is a Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse and holds a Master of Healthcare Administration from Webster University with academic honors. Claudia’s contributions to hospice care have earned her the FHPCA Catalyst Award (2023), and she currently serves on the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging board for Hospice and Palliative Credentialing Center. She also serves as a board member for the Bel Lavi Foundation. She is passionate about expanding access to quality, compassionate end-of-life care.
